Hiking along the Suone Bisse du Tsittoret

Let the water flow! Off we go on a cir­cu­lar walk along the «Bisse du Tsit­toret». The bisse accom­pa­nies you at every turn on an eas­i­ly acces­si­ble foot­path. Along the route, you can mar­vel at the moun­tain peaks of the Valais Alps, green mead­ows and water­falls. Chil­dren will love the small bridges and nat­ur­al adven­tures along the way, and you’ll notice just how relax­ing a walk along the water chan­nel can be.

Ready for some action on two wheels? Then grab a bike and take the fam­i­ly for a ride on the Fam­i­ly For­est Loop! The cir­cuit in the Moubra For­est includes eleven sta­tions where you can prac­tice the basics of moun­tain bik­ing in a play­ful and safe way – from bal­ance and tech­nique to skill­ful manoeu­vring. The course is not only fun for kids, but also gets the adults sweat­ing, too. Who’s got what it takes to tack­le all the obsta­cles with ele­gance?

Twice the lakes, twice as much fun – Lac Grenon and Etang Long

Splash, play, relax – there are sev­er­al lakes in Crans-Mon­tana, includ­ing Lac Grenon and Etang Long. Both are cen­tral­ly locat­ed and easy to reach from the youth hos­tel. Play­grounds, shady trees, pic­nic bench­es and plen­ty of space to romp around on the shore. The Étang Long also offers plen­ty of water and beach activ­i­ties to help you cool off in the warm moun­tain sum­mer tem­per­a­tures. Both young and old alike can work off steam on inflat­able water games.
