They are scattered all over Switzerland in 8 of our 52 locations. No matter if you are a romantic, history buff, adventurer or stargazer, everyone will find their own favourite bed here.

1. The Beehive at Grindelwald

An exclusive adventure under the starry sky awaits you in the Berner Oberland. Staying in the wooden beehive in the garden of the Grindelwald Youth Hostel, you can treat yourself to a wonderful break for two.

Thanks to a stunning view through the window, you can share a little piece of the universe every night.

During the day and evening, the breathtaking view of the north face of the Eiger is particularly impressive. Choose from a cosy evening barbecue or pure relaxation in the outdoor barrel (hot tub) by torchlight.

2. The Woodland ‘Hüsli’ in Grindelwald

Close by and yet romantically hidden away, you will find our Woodland ‘Hüsli’. Unlike in the two main buildings, this little chalet sets you right in the middle of tranquil nature. It is the perfect spot for escaping everyday life in good company. A wood-burning stove and small kitchen provide the perfect atmosphere. Say good bye to hustle and bustle, and say hello to cosiness!

By the way, the legendary open-air warm bath is also part of the offer – with or without Prosecco.

3. The Wooden Pavilion in Avenches

Surrounded by pleasant green and woodland tones, this wheelchair-accessible pavilion welcomes you to Avenches. You can choose between two double rooms with barrier-free bathrooms, both offering a view of the youth hostel’s spacious garden.

You can also reach all the common rooms in the main building via a ramp. This makes this former orphanage an exciting starting point for any holiday. During your stay, enjoy excursions to the historic old town, the amphitheatre or the Three Lakes region.

4. Turmzimmer Sils im Domleschg

As the last stopover for the time being (to be continued, of course) let’s take a step or two up: Welcome to the Tower Room in Ehrenfels Castle Youth Hostel.

And no, the regal name is not an empty promise! Thanks to its striking four-story main tower, this hilltop castle is unmistakable. Protected by dense forest, it still boasts a panoramic eagle’s view down the valley.

The historic walls offer groups of 10 people or more a stylish medieval ambience. This backdrop is also an exceptional setting for a special celebration. And for a private moment for two, the princely tower room is the ideal spot.
